2nd Year Results
July 13, 2009 – 4:17 pmIt doesn’t seem like just over 3 weeks ago that I was sat inside the Exam Schools – but it was, and today I got my results. They weren’t the greatest results I’ve ever had, but they’re good enough to get me onto the 4 year course, so I’m happy. It’ll just be a case of working that little bit harder next year I guess.
A1 – Thermal Physics: 64.44%
A2 – EM and Optics: 54.09%
A3 – Quantum Physics: 67.81%
S10 – Medical and Environmental Physics: 34/50
Practical Work: 40/50
Rank: 93rd
When taking into account the MPhys weightings of the various exams (which can be seen here), I averaged just under 65% which is a solid 2:1.

As you say a while since you’ve posted, propably longer since I commented!
93rd of how many? There were 9 (nine) doing my original degree of Computing and Maths but 307 doing Computer Science. Slight difference when you come 4th…

I don’t know the exact number, but I think it’s just under 200.
